Nintendo Switch games news confirms retail launch as fans get new PS4, Xbox One port

NINTENDO SWITCH games news this week has confirmed another new retail launch for the popular hybrid console, as well as an intriguing PS4, Xbox One and PC title coming to the console.

Psyonix have now revealed when Rocket League on Switch will be launching in stores.
Rocket League Collector’s Edition for the Nintendo Switch games list will be arriving in North America on Jan. 16, although there will be a delay for UK players.
According to the latest information, fans across the pond will be waiting until January 26 for their chance to nab a physical copy.
This version of the game will be priced at €39.99 / £34.99 and will contain the following content:
  • Rocket League Full Game
  • Supersonic Fury DLC Pack
  • Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC Pack
  • Chaos Run DLC Pack
  • Aftershock DLC Car
  • Marauder DLC Car
  • Esper DLC Car
  • Masamune DLC Car
  • Customization Items inspired by DC Comics’ The Flash
  • Limited Art Print by Psyonix Concept Artist, Jay Zhang
Something fans may have noticed is that the physical version will cost more to buy in some regions, here’s Psyonix explaining why: “As many of you have likely noticed, the MSRP for Rocket League Collector’s Edition is $10 more on Nintendo Switch than the same version on other platforms.
“As much as we tried to keep the retail price down, the reality of the Switch’s increased cartridge manufacturing costs meant that the MSRP had to be higher as well.
“That said, we are still VERY confident that players who join us from the retail side will get plenty of enjoyment from what Rocket League has to offer and we look forward to welcoming them to the community next month.”
It has also been announced today that another new game is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Wasteland 2 has been confirmed for the hybrid console, having already launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The creator, Brian Fargo, posted a picture of the Director’s Cut running on a Switch, no details were provided regarding a release date.
