HIDEO KOJIMA, GUILLERMO DEL TORO WILL PRESENT AT THE GAME AWARDS 2017

Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima and filmmaker Guillermo del Toro will be presenters at The Game Awards 2017.
In a post on Twitter, Geoff Keighley, the producer of the annual awards show, confirmed both will be in attendance to present an award. "I'm happy to confirm Hideo is attending and will present an award with [del Toro] on Thursday night! You won't want to miss it," he said.

Whether or not new footage or details about Death Stranding will be revealed remains a mystery. While the game was absent from both E3 and Paris Games Week this year, last month del toro told IGN he was expecting to see gameplay in the not too distant future.
As such, it's quite possible one of world premieres at The Game Awards will be dedicated to Kojima Productions' highly anticipated action game. After all, last year's award show featured a new trailer for Death Stranding, revealing actor Mads Mikkelsen and del Toro will appear in the game.

The Game Awards 2017 kicks off on Thursday, December 7 at 5:30pm PT / 8:30pm ET (Friday, December 8 at 1:30am UK / 12:30pm AET). While you patiently wait in the hope of new information about Death Stranding at this year's show, check out this stunning graphics demo for Death Stranding.
